Trinidad was known as a traditional, Cuban-legacy brand for years. At the time, the brand had classic, simple packaging. The cigars were good, but it was hard to stand out. But a couple of years back, that changed with the release of Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 1. A brightly colored blend from the minds of AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal that flipped the brand on its head.

Trinidad Espiritu’s third installment is another collaboration between Fernandez and Nodal. Loaded with a core of Nicaraguan tobacco, the blend is finished with a Mexican San Andres wrapper. This wrapper is genuinely stunning. Dark and smooth, the cigar looks like a work of art. Expect a rich bouquet of dark chocolate, cedar, and hints of spice on the finish. This is one of the few cigars that tastes as good as it looks.
