These Toro Rewards Terms ("Rewards Terms") govern the Toro Rewards loyalty program (the "Program") offered by ToroCigars.com ("Toro Cigars", "we", "us"). By joining the Program, earning points or redeeming points, you agree to these Rewards Terms and to our Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and have a Toro Cigars account to join. The Program is for personal use only. Businesses, resellers and wholesale accounts are not eligible. One account per person.
Earning Points
You earn 1 point for every $1 you pay for qualifying purchases at our Oakland Park store and on ToroCigars.com, including sales tax and after any discounts, rounded down to the nearest whole point. Shipping, gift card purchases, and any part of a purchase paid with points, a reward, store credit or a gift card do not earn points, along with other items we choose to exclude. To earn points in store, you must give us the email or phone number on your account at the time of purchase. Points cannot be added for past purchases made before you joined or without your account.
Bonus points and bonus events are offered at our discretion and may have their own conditions.
Points Expire After 12 Months
Points expire 12 months after the date they are earned. Expired points are removed from your balance automatically and cannot be restored. Points are used oldest first when you redeem.
Redeeming Points
Points can be redeemed in 500-point steps (500 points = $5). On ToroCigars.com, redeemed points become a single-use reward that is applied to your cart and can only be used by your account. In our store, redeemed points are taken off your purchase at the register. Rewards cannot be used to buy gift cards. Rewards can be combined with one promo code. Points and rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold, combined with another account, or given to another person.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
If an order is returned, refunded or cancelled, the points earned on it are removed from your balance. If you used points on an order that is refunded, those points may be returned to your balance with their original expiration date, or not returned, at our discretion. If removing points makes your balance negative, future points will first be applied to that balance.
Changes to or End of the Program
We may change these Rewards Terms, the earning and redemption rates, rewards, or any part of the Program, or suspend or end the Program, at any time, with or without notice. If the Program ends, any points not redeemed by the end date are forfeited and have no value. Continuing to take part in the Program after a change means you accept it.
Account Closure, Fraud and Errors
We may cancel points, suspend or close a Program account, or refuse participation if we believe points were earned or used through fraud, abuse, error, resale activity, or a violation of these Rewards Terms or our Terms & Conditions. If you close your Toro Cigars account, your points are forfeited. We may correct any points balance that was credited in error.
No Guarantee
The Program is offered as a courtesy. Points are a promotional benefit and are not property, a gift card, or stored value. Your points balance as shown in our records is final. We are not responsible for points that are not credited because of technical issues, missing account information, or events beyond our control.
Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to rewards you receive.
