Dunbarton Year of the Pausers 14ct

Every year, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust releases its DTT annual cabinet — a limited, handcrafted expression the cigar world waits for. The 2026 edition is "Year of the Pausers," subtitled "Friends to Many." Fourteen cigars in a 6×48 parejo with the signature DTT-style pig-tail moña, hand-crafted at JDN and NACSA in Estelí, Nicaragua, limited to roughly 2,700 boxes worldwide. Inside are two completely different ligas — seven of each. "Michele" is the lighter of the two, inspired by Sin Compromiso Paladin de Saka: a Grade 1 Mexican San Andrés Cultivo Tonto wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano Viso Rosado binder with Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Seedleaf filler — medium-plus, with cocoa, espresso, loam, and a sweet, creamy finish. "Tom" is built from DTT's heavier bodies like Triqui Traca and MQ Black: a Nicaraguan Capa Camaleón wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés Negro binder with Nicaraguan and Dominican filler — full-bodied, with burnt caramel, salty depth, dark chocolate, and a tangy edge that ages beautifully. Two friends, two ligas, one cabinet.
